On Friday, October 30th, the ASFC community enjoyed a fabulous annual Halloween celebration, with a difference!
Our PTA together with the Leadership Team really thought outside the box and used all of their creativity to make this event possible whilst respecting all the safety and health protocols of safe distance, use of masks and avoiding agglomerations.
The entire ASFC grounds were turned into a hair-raising circuit, which also included ghostly sweet stations, altars, eerie corners and spine-chilling figures.
Members of the ASFC community joined in a fun Wacky Parade in their decorated cars, and had the option to enter a photo competition for best costume and best car decoration.
Whilst some cars drove through the Tunnel of Terrors, perfectly fulfilling its purpose of frightening the passengers with its sinister atmosphere, we welcomed families to our Spooky Cinema, where we had two showings of Halloween movies, one for the little ones and the later one for Upper school students.
The Student Council took part in the event with their Circus of Horrors, which saw a great turnout for the various fundraising activities. They even sold out of their pan compuesto within the first hour!
It was fantastic to see so many people taking part in the event, wearing their costumes and dressing up their cars!
Our PTA representatives really outdid themselves and managed to retain the atmosphere of this traditional spooktacular event whilst ensuring everyone’s safety. A special thank you goes out to them and all the staff and helpers who contributed in making the event memorable.
This year we had to limit access to the event for safety reasons, but we look forward to welcoming everyone back next year, for a bigger, better and scarier event!
