On Monday, August 24th we welcomed back all our students to the virtual classroom for the start of the 2020/2021 academic year.
It was a different first day this year, but we were proud to see all our students and parents connected and showing great enthusiasm and energy for the year ahead.
Our teachers and directors have worked tirelessly over the summer to develop a fun and exciting virtual educational program that will allow students to learn and interact with the lessons through a new digital platform, Knotion.
The Knotion platform provides an environment in which students solve transdisciplinary challenges while building a real and deep understanding of the world around them. It helps develop their own identity in harmonious coexistence with their environment and the firm commitment to positively impact it.
This model goes hand in hand with our IB curriculum, which strives to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who are motivated to succeed.
We are impressed to see how we have adapted as a community to this new way of learning, showing flexibility, resilience and 21st century digital skills across grade levels.
It will be a year full of inspiring adventures, interactive learning and fun challenges; we look forward to sharing another year together.
Until we can be together in person, we wish you all a fantastic few months ahead!
