On Thursday, October 28th, the ASFC community came out to celebrate our annual Halloween party, this year with a Hocus Pocus theme!
The entire ASFC grounds were turned into a hair-raising circuit, which also included magic cauldron sweet stations, altars, eerie corners and spine-chilling figures. The Pumpkin lane was decorated with entries for our pumpkin carving and Yayoi Kusama inspired paper mache contests. Our staff tirelessly danced the night away on the Monster Dancefloor, welcoming all visitors to the event.
Members of the ASFC community joined in their decorated cars, and had the option to enter a photo competition for best costume and best car decoration whilst enjoying the beautiful photobooth.
Whilst some cars drove through the Salem Graveyard, perfectly fulfilling its purpose of frightening the passengers with its sinister atmosphere, we welcomed families to our Hocus Pocus Cinema, where we had two showings of Halloween movies.
Upper School students enjoyed a thrilling LaserTag battle and the Student Council joined in the fun with activities and fundraising drives.
It was fantastic to see so many people taking part in the event, wearing their costumes and dressing up their cars!
Our PTA representatives really outdid themselves and managed to retain the atmosphere of this traditional spooktacular event whilst ensuring everyone’s safety. A special thank you goes out to them and all the staff and helpers who contributed in making the event memorable.
See you next year!
