Communication is the basis of education, of learning and positive development of the personality. This is why at ASFC we are committed to teaching sign language, so that our learners can communicate with deaf people.

The academy is taught by the teachers of the Civil Association «Manos que Hablan Chiapas». The content is developed in 4 modules throughout the school year. Students receive instructions on sign language in class, and in communication sessions and workshops they apply their knowledge and are certified at the end of each module. Each cycle represents a level; for students who wish to become certified teachers it takes 3 levels.

Our language academies are open to the ASFC community and external public, they are virtual academies taking advantage of all the possibilities that remote learning offers from the safety of our homes.
